The Sims 1
When I started playing the Sims, I started to play the Sims 1 and I got addicted to it. It has a good music (I know). The expansions are great (I really like the Makin’ Magic expansion pack) but the sims have a very limited actions. So sad. Building a house is quite easier compare to The Sims 2 and 3. Raising your skills are so effin’ hard. There’s no cheat on that one BUT there is a food (that you have to download) so that your needs will be full. There is a limited choice of hairstyles and outfits, and I shall say that those are pretty bad. You can’t change a sim's face, name, or personality once they have been moved into a lot. Another thing is that, babies will grow to become children BUT adults will never grow old or die of old age. They have a lot of mods, you can google it. I actually enjoyed it because I had my own hospital back then. I also had my own school. I got it from simlogical.
The Sims 2
When I first started playing the Sims 2, it changed my life, literally. I got addicted to it and started forgetting the Sims 1. Just kidding. Based on my experience, there are lots of downloadable content for Sims 2 than the Sims 1 and 3. When it comes to creating a sim, you have a lot of options. You can change the shape of the face, eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, chin, almost everything. You can choose any of the two body types, thin and fat. Sims already have their aspirations and aspiration rewards, lifetime wish, and turn ons. There is also a cheat for raising skills, moods, and interests, and that is ‘boolprop testingcheatsenabled true’. It can do a lot of cheats in the game. In this game, babies will grow to become toddlers then they become children and then teens (then young adults for university expansion pack) then adults then elders unlike the Sims 1. Honestly guys, you will enjoy the Sims 2 if you have a lot of mods in your game. But if you have any bugs in your game, you can just google it. I’ve experienced almost all bugs in the Sims 2 but it’s all fixed now. I’ve also had my own school in Sims 2 and I got the mods in the simlogical too.
The Sims 3
In my opinion, the Sims 3 has a lot of career paths compare to the Sims 1 and 2 (but I have a lot more in Sims 2 because I downloaded most of the careers in MTS. You have a lot of options in creating a sim in Sims 3 than that of Sims 2. You’ve got to choose your sim’s body shape, complexion, and traits. I would say that, based on my experience in the Sims 3, it has lots of bugs compare to Sims 2, and also I don’t know if other players have experienced the same thing. I haven't also found a cheat in raising a sim's skill. In the Sims 3, sims will age like that of the Sims 2 BUT this time, teens will grow to become young adults and then they grow to become adults. Building a house in the Sims 3 is quite the same as in the Sims 2. In the Sims 3, as your sims age, your neighbors will also age BUT you can disable aging in the settings and if you want your sims to grow up, just buy a cake. Honestly speaking, I enjoy playing the Sims 2 compare to Sims 3. One last thing, you have to download origin for The Sims 3 and 4.
I haven't tried playing The Sims 4 because I couldn't install it on my laptop but I got it installed on my friend's computer, IKR. As of now, I am still playing The Sims 2.
